Some time ago, the Pharoahs Eastern Region leadership talked about adding a new division called “Next Gen”, or Next Generation. Originally it was primarily to allow newer American made muscle cars into Pharoah membership. After much discussion, its opened up to all types but also remains a local chapter decision.
Announcing we will be starting up a Next Generation Division. This will include newer cars that embody the Pharoahs mentality, but might not make the existing chapters cut offs. This is on “a chapter to chapter basis”. This is a way for us to bring in not only the next generation of cars, but also the next generation of younger members!
As we continue to grow, and time progresses, we want to keep the Pharoahs name and image alive!
Next Generation members will be expected to carry themselves in the same manner as current existing Pharoahs already do. The Universal Pharoahs are excited about this new opportunity in front of us as we continue our tradition as one of the finest Classic Car Clubs in the world, but giving the opportunity to continue to grow and keep the name alive in the future!
All car regulations will be decided upon by the local chapter. Cars being considered for membership to join the Next Gen Division would be part of Pharoahs-St Johns. These would include tuner styles, drifters, fox bodies, Ferraris, Lambos, Hondas, Subarus, to name but a few.
There are LOTS of nicely modified “newer” cars on the road. LOTS of those people drool over a classic, but lots of them can’t get one or want the newer or import models. We want to welcome newer, younger members to our club. Reach out to Director Sean Griswold for more details.
